Keeping Text Visible on Vertical Videos
You spend time designing on-screen text, then the app places a username and buttons right on top of it. The safe zone is the area of a 9:16 frame that no interface element covers on the major short-video apps.
Simple rules
- Keep headlines in the upper middle of the frame.
- Leave the right edge free for buttons.
- Captions belong above the bottom strip, not at the very bottom.
Burn captions in the right place with the Video Caption Maker, and convert landscape footage with the Vertical Video Converter.
